We hire drywall hangers, tapers, metal framers, and helpers for residential and commercial work across the Bay Area and Northern California. You work for a family company, not a call center.
A Family Crew, Not a Temp Line
Ron Hogan Drywall started in 1970. Ron Hogan Sr. still runs the company from Fairfield. Jobs are homes, remodels, and commercial interiors — hanging, finishing, metal framing, QuietRock, and repairs.
We do not keep a public list of “12 openings” that stays stale. Workload changes. If you can hang, tape, frame, or learn on a clean job site, call or text and say what you do.
Roles We Hire
Openings depend on the schedule. These are the trades we staff.
Drywall Hangers
Hang board on wood or metal studs. Straight walls, clean cuts, ceilings that do not sag.
Tapers & Finishers
Tape, coat, texture match, Level 4 and Level 5. The work customers actually see.
Metal Stud Framers
Light-gauge framing for interiors, partitions, soffits, and commercial TI.
Helpers
Stock, clean, and learn the trade on real jobs. Show up on time and work clean.
What the Work Looks Like
- Based in Fairfield — jobs across the Bay Area and Northern California
- Residential and commercial sites
- Typical company hours: Mon–Fri 6:00 AM–5:00 PM; weekend work when the job needs it
- Clean job sites. Customers live and work in these rooms.
Pay, hours, and benefits depend on the role and experience. Ask Ron directly. We will not post numbers here that we cannot stand behind.
Who Should Apply
- You have hanging, taping, or framing experience — or you are ready to learn as a helper
- You can get to Bay Area and Northern California job sites
- You work clean and treat occupied homes and offices with respect
- You can communicate about schedule and scope
Valid authorization to work in the U.S. is required. Experience is valued. Attitude and showing up matter as much.
