What started as one man’s small business has grown into the trusted local name homeowners, builders, and property managers call when they want the job done right the first time.
Our StoryIt all began in 1970 when Paul Edward Hogan earned his California contractor’s license and started Ron Hogan Drywall with nothing more than a pickup truck, a few tools, and a promise to do honest work. Paul built a reputation for showing up on time, leaving job sites clean, and standing behind every wall he put up.
When Paul passed away, his son Ron Edward Hogan Sr. stepped in and never looked back. Ron grew up on job sites, learning the trade from the ground up. Today, more than 56 years later, the same family values are still at the heart of everything we do. We’re still locally owned, still based in the Bay Area, and still answering our own phones. No call centers. No corporate red tape. Just real people who care about your project as much as you do.We’ve seen the Bay Area change a lot since 1970 — from Gilroy’s quiet farmland to San Jose’s booming tech corridors — but one thing hasn’t changed: our commitment to doing quality drywall and metal framing the old-fashioned way, with today’s tools and 2026 building standards.
